BY HIRING WITH DRESSED BY EM YOU IMMEDIATLEY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 

BOOKINGS
  • Bookings are not secured until full payment has been made via our website. Enquiries & try on appointments do not secure your garment for your desired date.
  • Garments will not be posted or available for collection until payment has been made.
 
CANCELLATIONS
  • All payments made to Dressed By Em are final & are unable to be refunded, unless Dressed By Em needs to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • Refunds are unavailable once payment has been made as the garment has now been made unavailable for other clients to book.
  • Full store credits are available for bookings cancelled a minimum of 5 days prior to the start of booking date. 
  • Store Credits are not available for change of mind or issues with sizing. Clients are able to book try ons prior to booking to confirm they are happy with the garment.
  • To cancel a booking, clients must contact Dressed By Em via email - info@dressedbyem.com.
TRY-ONS
  • Try on appointments are available at our location in New Farm, Brisbane - 7 minutes from the Brisbane, CBD. Dressed By Em does not offer interstate postal try ons.
  • Try on bookings require a $15 deposit. This deposit is redeemable towards any hire booked from the appointment. This fee is strictly non refundable unless changes are made by Dressed By Em.  Cancellations made by clients, no shows & unsuccessful try ons do not qualify for a refund.
  • Try ons do not secure garments for event dates and clients are liable to check garment availability prior to booking a try on appointment. Refunds will not be provided if the clients requested garments are unavailable for the clients event date.
  • Dressed By Em recommends that interstate clients go to their local David Jones, Myer etc. to try on the garment or view the brands size guide prior to booking. 
 
COLLECTION AND RETURNS
  • Pick up bookings are to be collected from our location in New Farm, Brisbane on the first day of your booking. Clients must contact Dressed By Em on Instagram DM to organise a pick up time & be sent the pick up address. The exact pick up address is not published online for security. 
  • Pick up bookings must be returned on the final day of the hire period. Returns are to be left by the front door and clients must send a message on Instagram DM to notify Dressed By Em that they have returned the hire. 
  • All posted hires must be lodged at an Australia Post post office by 4pm on the final day of the hire booking. Returns must be handed to an Australia Post staff member and a photo of the lodgement receipt must be sent to Dressed By Em on Instagram for proof of postage.
  • Postal returns are NOT to be lodged in an Australia Post street box.
  
GARMENT CARE
  • Treat garments with care and be extra cautious whilst wearing fake tan, makeup and perfume, also whilst around food and drinks.
  • No adjustments are to be made to the garment - E.G. Pinning or Hemming.
  • Do NOT attempt to wash or dry clean the garment  yourself. Dressed By Em takes care of all cleaning and carefully hand washes each garment.
  • If the garment is returned in poor or damaged condition, the client is liable to cover any additional costs. E.G. Repairs or extra cleaning fees. 
  • If the garment is damaged beyond repair, Dressed By Em reserves the right to charge the client full RRP (Recommended Retail Price).
 

LATE FEES
  • Garments are often booked back-to-back, therefor, we rely on hires being returned on time to ensure all bookings go ahead.
  • A $10 late fee will be charged for each day the garment is not returned past it’s due date. If your late return impacts another booking or you return over 5 days late, you will be charged the full hire fee.
  • Please DM @dressedbyem immediately if you are unable to return your hire by the booked return date.
